Data controller

The controller for data collected through this site is What a Grant. For any privacy-related request, you can write to whatagrant@gmail.com.

Data I collect

I collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form (name, organisation, email, message) and through the newsletter signup (email address). I do not collect sensitive data or payment data.

Purpose of processing

Contact form data is used solely to respond to your request. Newsletter signup data is used to send you periodic updates on grants and guides, until you unsubscribe.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the explicit consent given by ticking the consent checkbox in the site’s forms (Art. 6.1.a of EU Regulation 2016/679, GDPR). For the newsletter, consent is confirmed with a second step (double opt-in): you’ll receive an email with a link to click before you’re actually subscribed.

Data retention

Contact form data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request, and in any case no longer than 24 months. Newsletter signup data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

At any time you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, as well as portability and objection, by writing to whatagrant@gmail.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in every email.

Cookies

This site uses only technical cookies and browser local storage (localStorage) to remember your chosen language. I do not use profiling or third-party advertising cookies.
